Earth girls have it easy
The title is a spin on a 1988 B-movie "Earth Girls are Easy". Obviously girls are not easy, but I think there is a good argument to suggest that when it comes down to getting sex, girls do have it easy. As the saying goes:
Women can have sex with any man they want. But men can have sex only with women who will let them.OK, it's an over-generalization, but there an element of truth. Most women could probably have sex with most men they meet, whereas most men will probably not be able to have sex with most (if any!) women they meet.
If we accept the generalization, what does this imbalance of power mean? Why should it be the case?
- Women are more choosy.
- Women have better communication skills.
- Women are better seductresses.
- Women want more meaningful relationships.
On the plus side, unpopular men hopefully end up having more time to do other more constructive things. While some of them learn a bit more about the opposite sex... respect, patience, dedication, write blogs on sex and culture, etc, it's true that some men become a little geeky.
So there you have it. Women have a choice between hapless hunks and quirky geeks. I guess Earth girls don't have it so easy after all. But I bet most guys would like to have the same choice.

Ha-ha! I'd have to say that after a faltering start in life, that as a woman, I got to bed whomever I wished. But don't you think it is mainly a confidence thing and once you have cracked the confidence in that area then you are away?

I guess confidence has a little to do with it. Except that a woman can bed any man, confident or not. An un-confident man who tries it on is sweet; A confident man who persists is a pest.
Not entirly true how many fat ugly girls would you sleep with?
I find my hand more attractive than many women.
Combine this with the fact that women dont in general approach men and you have a select group of women i.e. the lookers who get the attension.
Hence the reason women put more effort into their appearance then men.
another point on the imbalance of power, woman are more in control because men have a higher physical need for sex, and they will do almost anything to get it, and women know this
