It’s pricey, but Eharmony might be worth checking out

Eharmony – it’s probably the most well-known dating site in the world. Anyone who has not had much luck finding romance in their lives probably have thought about joining this service at one time or another. One thing that might hold some people back is the ticket to enter the game. If you want to use Eharmony, the cost can be a whopping $59 per month if you opt to pay on a monthly schedule.

Before handing over that kind of money, you might want to learn a bit more about how Eharmony works. This is not hard to do, given that you can get an Eharmony free trial account. This account is available to all Eharmony newcomers, who are able to set up a profile, take the compatibility test, and receive matches without having to pay anything upfront. Use the penny test to see if you need new tires

I’ve seen a couple of new discount tire stores opening up in my area lately for some reason. Not sure why – maybe it’s because the economy is finally picking up. While it’s tempting to just head over to one of them when I need tires, I usually resist the urge, and here is why: I know I can save money if I make my tire purchases over the Internet and use coupons for Discount Tire store (more on that later).

I’m not expert on tires, and to determine whether I need new tires, I usually just use the penny test to see how much tread I have left. I also do a quick visual inspection to make sure the tire still appears like it can last a while longer. If I don’t think I’ll get much more out of the tires, I head to the discount tire store, find the tires that will fit my car, and place an order.

The primary way I save money is by utilizing Discount Tire coupons available online. The savings generally come in two forms. You might get a rebate for a certain brand of tires. Or, sometimes you can claim a Visa Prepaid card for buying a set of tires. Either way works for me, so long as I can save some money.

These days, you can’t get much for free. This is certainly true with taxes, and even the software or services you use to file them. Unfortunately, most of us do not know enough about taxes to be able to file them ourselves. As a result, we typically have to spend hundreds of dollars each tax season to file our taxes. I myself spend over $400 this year to do my taxes.

But for those people who have relatively straightforward returns to file, there is a Turbotax free edition available online that I highly recommend. This edition will be sufficient for you if all you have is, for instance, one job, no house, and no investments. Anything more complex than this will require you to upgrade to a paid version of Turbotax.

Despite this, if your motivated, you might still want to use Turbotax instead of having your returns completed by a CPA or a service such as H&R Block. In may cases, the software will cost you under $50, and from what I have experienced having used it a number of times, it is fairly accurate as well.

Hopefully, you have already completed your taxes, but may of us do take an extension. If you call into this category, you might want to check out the free edition of Turbotax to see if you might get away with filing your taxes for free this year (or at least relatively inexpensively).

I’ve noticed quite a few Vitamin Shoppes opening in my area recently.

I’m not sure if they first started out as an offline bricks and mortars store, or if they were initially an internet retailer, but either way, Vitamin Shoppe has gotten quite big. They just opened up a rather large store about a mile from where I live, and although I haven’t had a chance to visit it yet, the lot always seems to be full.

Now, I might go to a vitamin store like Vitamin Shoppe when I’m desperate to get a certain supplements ASAP, but for the most part, I’m pretty good at planning ahead. This allows me to order online, and this usually ends up saving me quite a bit of money since I don’t need to pay for shipping, and can take advantage of special offers by using a Vitamin Shoppe coupon. I’ve been a loyal customer for about 3 years now.

You might wonder, how come I always choose Vitamin Shoppe when there are dozens of other online health and supplement stores? Well, it’s hard to give you an exact reason. I do like the Vitamin Shoppe private label brand, and you can’t exactly get that at other stores. But I also like the other selections they have. And it doesn’t hurt that I can get an online coupon for vitamin shoppe as well. I suppose I could try other stores as well, but why bother since I’ve always had a good experience using Vitamin Shoppe?
